I could not
have made it through my pregnancy without the help of Jodi.
Throughout my second and third trimester I had lower back pain,
sciatic pain, and a lot of swelling. The relief I received from
pregnancy massage was amazing. I would recommend massage to any
women going through the discomfort of pregnancy, you really don't
have to suffer! Also, when the doctor gives you the green light
that the baby is mature enough to deliver at any time, Jodi can
apply different pressure points to help stimulate your body into
labor and it worked for me! The day after I had my hour pregnancy
massage and she pressed a few pressure points I delivered. She is
truly an awesome massage therapist.

Jodi also specializes in prenatal and
postpartum massage.
Great physical and emotional
changes occur throughout pregnancy. Massage during this very special
time can help the woman feel more comfortable with those changes. The
massage is focused on the particular concerns associated with each
trimester.
Benefits of massage during
pregnancy:
- reduces stress on
weight-bearing joints
- increases flexibility
- eases constipation, gas and
heartburn
- reduces excess fluid retention
- slows the process of varicose
veins
- reduces musculoskeletal pain
and strain
- reduces stress, sleep is
facilitated and there is less fatigue
- reduces edema and blood
pressure
Benefits of massage postpartum:
-
helps the woman’s body recover,
particularly the abdominal region
- helps you handle the physical
demands of a newborn
- speed the healing process of
hemorrhoids or an episiotomy
- reduces cellulite
- if nursing, helps with milk
letdown or engorged breast
- eases muscle aches and fatigue
- reduces swelling in the legs or
any other area
Of all the things I did during
pregnancy to stay healthy and happy, weekly massage was by far the best
thing I did. Jodi made any aches go away and had lots of tips for
stretches that helped tremendously. Jodi helped me stay active during my
entire pregnancy by massaging away my soreness and aches, which helped
make labor quite easy and relaxed. Baby Connor even knew Jodi’s voice
and would start moving around during my massages, I think he really
liked them too.”
